Is there a cupboard or closet in the room you are reading this now? What if I told you there’s a woman hiding there? Creepy? What if I told you whenever you go to sleep she comes out? Well, this is a real story that happened to a guy in Kasuya, Japan.
He noticed food was disappearing. So he installed security cameras and checked the videos (from his phone) after leaving to work, like a scene from a horror movie he saw in panic how a woman crept out from one cupboard. He called police.
They went to the house and told him there were no signs of an intruder, but when police opened the built-in cupboard they found 58 year old Tatsuko Horikawa. No, she din’t get there the day before, she had been living there for a year!
Just imagine someone watching every single thing you do at home and listening to your conversations. When she knew she was alone she used the apartment toilet, shower, fridge…
Tatsuko was homeless and moved there when the previous owner of the house left. She was only charged with trespassing as she never robbed money or anything of value besides water and food.
